A group of 8 female voices with a diverse age range, Concordia
exemplify the beauty of the a cappella sound. Originally formed
as an educational initiative designed
to demonstrate to youngsters the joy
of singing early music, the group have
been so enthusiastically supported that
their debut CD “Sanctus spiritus” sold
out almost immediately upon release.
Concordia perform works dating from
the 12th to 17th century, both sacred and
secular, thus proving that this music really
is fun!
They have also featured recently on Womans’ Hour.
